Picnicco is a seasonal event that takes place from May to September, on Saturday and Sunday only, on the dates indicated in the official calendar that you can find here (link). As it is an entirely open-air event, its actual happening strictly depends on weather conditions. During the week it is not possible to organize Picnicco “on request” but you can choose among one of our tour&tasting experiences (link – tasting) or ask for more information to organize a small private event in the cellar (link – contact).

Picnicco starts at 6 pm and ends around 10 pm.

Yes, you need to book in advance using reservation form that you can find inside each single event (once you’ve correctly filled up the form, the reservation is confirmed and it is not necessary to contact us for further confirmations).

The reservation is useful to us in order to organize the service in the best way and make sure that there is enough wine and food for everyone!

The reservation can also be cumulative (for more people) and does not give right to a specific location: the “lounges” made with benches are available to all our guests and, as the old sage says, “who first arrives…”

Yes, of course, you can do that… so you don’t have to pay the € 8.00 entrance fee but only your individual drinks.

Absolutely not!

Picnicco is an event organized by the winery Madrevite (it is not a spontaneous picnic organized in a public space) with the participation of several local Food Trucks with a wide range of proposals for all tastes… Therefore, on your arrival you will find everything you need: wine, good food, music and fun!

In the parking area set up just a few steps from the event. Upon your arrival our staff (recognizable by the bib) will show you where to leave the car.

You must go to the main courtyard of the cellar where you will find the cash desk: here, once you have indicated the name of your reservation, you can buy the glass and start your Picnicco!

With its open spaces, mild nature and the quiet of the countryside, Picnicco is the perfect place to spend a few hours relaxing with family. In addition to wine, water and soft drinks are available in the serving area. Moreover, the Food Trucks offer proposals suitable also for children as fries, chips, burgers, etc… Free entry for children.

Of course you do!

If you do not drink wine, you do not have to pay the entrance fee. You can go directly to the serving area where, in addition to wine, water and other drinks are available (it is forbidden to introduce drinks from outside).

We are in the countryside, animals are welcome but always remember to respect other people (mandatory leash).

Absolutely yes, Picnicco is perfect for any type of occasion!

Remember though that it is a public event so we cannot organize exclusive party during Picnicco. Always keep in mind that, being a totally outdoor event, its actual execution depends on the weather conditions of the moment. It is not possible to make specific all-inclusive packages: we recommend you to arrive as early as possible to occupy the position you prefer and to make arrangements in advance with the various Trucks for the food – as for the wine you can come to the cash desk (always “as early as possible”) to buy the glasses and bottles of wine needed.

Of course, you can pay both by card and in cash.

Yes, the Food Trucks offer also some vegetarian and vegan options.

As for celiac disease, there are gluten-free options (poke, French fries, popcorn, …) but the Food Trucks cannot guarantee non-contamination. Precisely because of this limitation, only and exclusively people with celiac disease are allowed to bring in food from outside.

The event takes place in the outdoor spaces of the Winery Madrevite, on different floors and slopes. There are flat paved areas, flat areas or with a slight slope with a loose gravel/compact earth base.

• The sunset time varies depending on the season: if you want to know for sure, check online!
• Do you want to enjoy the sunset show to the fullest? Don’t arrive 10 minutes early because you could get stuck in some queue and the most suggestive minutes of the sunset are not many….

From 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm the maximum turnout is concentrated and the queues, to take wine and food, get longer (please note that everything is made on the spot).
And then, what should I do? Easy, ARRIVE EARLY!
